ISHAY FIGHTS FOR OUR

On October 7th, the nation fell apart with each passing headline.

Ishay traveled across the world to uplift Jewish communities everywhere. His presence on the world stage, from surprise concerts at army bases to gut wrenching tributes at funerals 
will stay in our memory.  

 

Ishay’s performances impacted more than just those present 
at the time; a series of social media videos featuring Ishay Ribo flooded the internet in the months following the war, where footage of Ishay with soldiers and misplaced families inspired Jews across the world every day. 

 

Galvanizing the troops, resuscitating hearts, and spreading 
hope for a better tomorrow. 

 

Ishay Ribo sprang into action, putting his own needs aside. 
He traveled the country, performing at last-minute venues, from 

a backyard wedding where the groom took a 24-hour leave from  reserve duty to the funerals of our chayalim.

Dressed in a black shirt and jeans, Ribo sang
and several other songs at the wedding of 
Maor and Gal Peretz, which took place in the  settlement of Nofei Prat, near Maale Adumim."

Ishay traveled across the country, giving soldiers in army bases from the Golan border to those about to enter Gaza the most important, most vital weapon of all — life.

For four months, Ishay performed  tirelessly for displaced Israeli refugees  and critically injured victims, putting  aside his own pain to uplift a shattered  nation with love and compassion.
 

Despite his strength, the emotional  toll sometimes overwhelmed him, bringing him to tears on stage and at the levaya of a pure neshama.

Ishay Ribo, at an event for hostages at Kfar Hatifukim (Hostage Square), added an extra verse to the Shalom Aleichem prayer before Shabbat, praying for the hostages’ safe return home. There was a Sefer Torah for every hostage that Shabbat night.

Traveling across the U.S., Ishay played for organizations like OneFamily and Kochot, donating all proceeds to terror victims, young IDF veterans, and hostage families.

From DC stages to nursing home floors and academic institutions like Ramaz, Columbia, and most recently, Harvard, Ishay lifted hopes and inspired countless students

a cozy hall for an intimate concert with the Israeli singer.

Against a backdrop of death threats, verbal attacks, pro-Hamas chants, 
and social media posts dripping with the hate hanging thick in the air, 
the students unleashed their stress together, proudly refusing to hide 
their Jewish identities as they swayed and danced to Ishay’s Hebrew top-charters. With an impromptu  stage, a five-man band, and hundreds of students crammed into the Kraft center’s venue, Ishay’s presence served as a unifying force, broadcasting the message to the forcibly isolated Jewish student body within Columbia; We are thinking of you, we see you standing tall here on campus, and we’re with you.

Despite their recent notoriety, with raging antisemitism  running rampant throughout their campus,

Ishay Ribo’s impactful career includes a powerful performance in collaboration with Omer Adam at the historic “March for Israel” at the White House, uniting American Jews nationwide. In a historic display of unity, thousands of Jews across America flooded the Washington D.C. streets, gathering together in powerful  support of the hostages and victims of October 7th. With the blue and white of the Israeli flag standing proudly against the pale sky, Ishay’s voice rose above the crowd, bringing the nation together in heartfelt harmony.

40 concerts for more than 25,000 Chayalim

Ishay has a strong connection with 
Bnei  Akiva, which played a key role in 
his family’s journey towards religious observance after making aliyah at age eight. Together, Ishay and Bnei Akiva created the Baneshama initiative, where sponsors uplifted the hearts of a battered nation by raising thousands of dollars 
to bring as many concerts as possible 
to the Jewish community everywhere. Now, at Madison Square Garden, they 
aim to do it again, raising funds and awareness for this incredible mission.

Bnei Akiva & Ishay in Beneshama series have raised:

  • $25,000 dollars for supplies for soldiers in the first 2 months of the war 
     

  • 20,000 meals for Chayalim in army  bases over the past 7 months 
     

  • Activities for over 12,000 displaced  families and children

Joined by fellow international superstar Omer Adam, Ribo caused an online sensation with a video of the two performers harmonizing in a soul-stirring 
duet of Vehi She’Amda. Ishay also released a video of his heart-wrenching performance of Shir Lamaalot, touching the hearts of millions. 

 

With a series of social media videos featuring moving performances by the singer post October 7th, Ishay successfully uplifted millions of Jews across the world.
